¼ cup (60ml) white wine or chicken stock
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons lemon juice, plus extra for serving
2 tablespoons butter
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon cornstarch
salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled, and deveined
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (optional)
Add all ingredients except the shrimp and parsley to the Anyday dish and mix to combine.
Cook uncovered in the microwave for 3 minutes, or until fragrant.
Add the shrimp and stir until well coated. Cover with the lid (knob lifted).
Cook for 4 minutes (stirring halfway through), or until shrimp is orange and cooked through. If needed, continue cooking in 30-second intervals.
Stir the shrimp to coat it in sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice.
